I'm interested in reducing the fat in my cheeks, but I prefer non-invasive procedures. I'm wondering if CoolSculpting by Zeltiq can be performed on the cheeks.

Coolsculpting is not currently recommended for facial fat reduction. If you have excess fat in the lower cheek region, you may consider a procedure called 'buccal fat excision.' However, if you are experiencing sagging of facial fat and skin (jowling), a facelift procedure would be more beneficial. It would be helpful to evaluate your specific case with photos to provide further guidance. Nevertheless, Coolsculpting is not currently utilized in this area.

CoolSculpting is currently not approved for use on the cheek area. It is primarily intended for treating small areas of subcutaneous fat that are resistant to diet and exercise.
