I had liposuction performed two years ago, and my buttocks have become excessively large. When I consulted the doctor who performed the surgery, they informed me that liposuction to reduce the size of my buttocks would cause them to sag. I'm now exploring other options such as CoolSculpting or any other techniques to reduce their size. Can you please provide me with some guidance or suggestions?
While Coolsculpting is effective in reducing fat in many areas of the body, it is not recommended for the buttocks. However, it is FDA-cleared to treat "banana rolls" or fat beneath the buttocks where it meets the upper thigh.
Thank you for your question and photograph. CoolSculpting is not recommended for the buttocks as a treatment area. I suggest consulting with a board-certified plastic surgeon to discuss your specific circumstances. Good luck.
CoolSculpting is not suitable for reducing buttock size. A consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon is recommended to explore alternative options.
CoolSculpting cannot treat the buttocks itself but can target the banana roll below the buttocks. Consultation with an experienced and board-certified plastic surgeon is recommended to understand the available options.
