Engaging in sexual intimacy before allowing the irritation to fade may further irritate the area and increase swelling. It is recommended to wait a minimum of 24 hours or until all irritation has subsided before resuming intimacy.

When undergoing any laser treatment, it is important to anticipate similar redness to that of prolonged sun exposure. The treated skin may appear red and may be mildly irritated in some cases.
