Question
  • How Much Does Ksl Hair Transplant Cost In Edinburgh

I was prescribed 100mg of spiro to help with hair loss, but it caused insomnia. I decreased the dosage to 50mg, but I still experience insomnia. Will this side effect go away eventually? If not, are there other anti-androgen medications I can consider taking? (I am female.)

I suggest consulting a hair loss expert who can evaluate your condition and provide information about your best treatment options and possible side effects. Non-invasive options like PRP combined with progesterone can yield improvement without causing insomnia, and hair transplantation is another option to consider. Seek advice from an expert. Best wishes, Dr. Emer.

This drug has the potential to alter your hormone balance, which can lead to insomnia as a known side effect.

Spironolactone can cause insomnia as a side effect. Alternatives such as topical Rogaine or low-level light therapy devices like Laser Cap can be considered. Consulting with a hair restoration physician is also recommended.
