Medicaid may cover a septoplasty if it is determined that you have a functional airway problem. However, it will not cover the cost of a cosmetic rhinoplasty.

Rhinoplasty is considered a cosmetic surgery and is not covered by insurance. However, septoplasty (improving nasal air passage) can sometimes be covered by insurance, including Medicaid.
