I underwent a breast reduction in early June 2018, and I'm considering getting my nipples pierced. I'm curious if it's okay to proceed or if I should wait a bit longer for further healing?

There is no reason why you cannot get nipple piercings 9 months after a breast reduction procedure. In fact, if your nipples have experienced some loss of sensation, it may make the piercing process a bit easier. So, if you're interested, go for it.
