Question
  • How Much Does Ksl Hair Transplant Cost In Edinburgh

I had a tummy tuck two years ago, and it left me with a very small belly button. It's so tiny that I can only clean it using the stick of a Q-tip. I've seen people stretch their ear piercings, and I'm wondering if I can use a similar technique to stretch my small belly button. Is that a possible solution?

Instead of attempting a DIY fix, I would recommend contacting a plastic surgeon in your area as this issue may be improved with an umbilicoplasty. It's possible that the procedure could even be performed under local anesthesia in the office.

Stenotic (narrowed) belly buttons are typically caused by scarring. Stretching rarely helps in this situation, and scar revision procedures utilizing z-plasties are usually more successful. I recommend discussing this with your surgeon to explore the available options.

Nonsurgical techniques may be available to stretch the belly button, but a thorough assessment by a surgeon is needed to determine the cause and recommend appropriate treatments.

Inserting foreign objects for improvement should be approached with caution, as retrieval may be challenging. Other treatments, such as Kenalog injections or scar remedies, can be effective alternatives.
