In our practice, we schedule a check-up at 2 weeks to assess the progress of neuromodulators or fillers. By that time, most of the swelling has subsided, and we have a better idea of the outcome. Bruising can delay this assessment. In some cases, asymmetry can be improved. If you desire additional volume, most practices will charge you as they need to cover the cost of the product. Ensure that your injector, who should be well-trained and experienced, is aware of your current status.
It is common for some individuals to see no noticeable change 2 days after BOTOX injections. It usually takes around 7 to 10 days for the full results to develop.
