  • How Much Does Ksl Hair Transplant Cost In Edinburgh

Hello! I'm unsure if my nose is crooked or if it's just due to uneven swelling. Is it normal for my nose to appear slightly crooked or turned to the left due to swelling? I thought it would straighten out as the swelling goes down.

Recovering from rhinoplasty involves a healing process, and waiting for the swelling to subside is part of that process. The majority of swelling usually goes down within the first 6-8 weeks, followed by a gradual decrease over the next 6-9 months. However, some swelling fluctuations can occur depending on factors like heat, sun exposure, and salt intake. By one year, you are close to the final result, although the nose continues to heal and refine in small amounts for years afterward. At 3 months, you are entering the second phase of healing. It is important to follow your surgeon's instructions and attend follow-up appointments to monitor your progress and ensure a safe and satisfactory outcome.

Hello, Swelling during recovery always subsides in an uneven manner, with one side improving faster than the other. This asymmetry persists throughout the entire recovery process. The resolution of swelling is also non-linear, meaning that certain stages of recovery exhibit faster reduction in swelling than others. Each person's experience is unique in these aspects. It is important to be patient and seek reassurance from your surgeon. Regards,

It is common to have residual swelling of around 10-15% even after 3 months post-rhinoplasty. Uneven swelling may continue to resolve over the next few months. If the unevenness persists at 6 months, discuss it with your surgeon for potential minor adjustments.
