  • How Much Does Ksl Hair Transplant Cost In Edinburgh

Do you think getting a second round of treatment would be a waste of money? I underwent miraDry treatment, but it actually made my sweating worse. Now I sweat more easily and there is also an unpleasant odor. Are there any other options available to eliminate underarm sweating? Thank you.

I haven't come across reports of worsening sweat after a MiraDry procedure. However, it is not uncommon for patients to require a second treatment around 6 months after the initial treatment, as many statistics from the company are based on two treatments. If you choose not to undergo another treatment, Botox can be injected every 3-6 months to help with excessive sweating.

With miraDry, most individuals notice a significant reduction in underarm sweat, hair, and odor after a single treatment, typically ranging from 60-80%. Some experience complete elimination, while others may require a second treatment. The need for a third treatment is extremely rare. miraDry is a highly regarded procedure, and our patients have expressed great satisfaction with the results.

Experiencing worse sweating after MiraDry is unusual. Consider discussing your concerns with your treating physician and considering an iodine-starch test to assess the location of remaining sweat glands. Alternative treatments for hyperhidrosis include Botox and special deodorants. - [Doctor's Name]

It is not uncommon to need a second treatment for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). Discussing your concerns and options with a qualified professional is recommended.
