Approximately 6 weeks ago, I received my first Botox injections between my eyebrows. Recently, I've been experiencing an unusual tingling sensation in the treated area. It comes and goes sporadically, and I also feel like I've lost control of my eyebrows. Additionally, my skin appears rough during these sensations. Is this a normal part of the fading process when Botox wears off? I was happy with my initial results and I'm hoping this is a normal occurrence as I look forward to getting more injections in 6 weeks.
I have heard of this before, and if you are concerned, I suggest you follow up with your medical provider. Best regards.
Although it is not a common sensation for Botox patients, it doesn't mean that it can't occur due to the injections. If you are concerned, I suggest speaking with your doctor and mentioning it during your next injection appointment.
Experiencing an uncommon reaction is a cause for concern. It is advisable to make an appointment with your physician to discuss your concerns.
If you still have sensation in the treated area after Botox injections, it may indicate the need for further treatment. Consult with your doctor to discuss the possibility of adjusting the dosage or other options.
