I'm having trouble finding information comparing and contrasting Potenza and Morpheus8, which are both RF microneedling treatments. Can you please provide some insights?
Both Morpheus and Potenza are excellent skin resurfacing modalities, far superior to Ultherapy or Thermage. Morpheus is a bipolar device, while Potenza is unipolar. With Morpheus, you have greater control, benefits, and power, making it the preferred choice. For optimal results, Morpheus treatments are typically performed under IV sedation and local anesthesia to utilize the maximum deep power settings. The procedure usually requires a single session, but mild sessions under numbing cream can also be effective, although with slightly less intensity. Additionally, combining a medium TCA peel with Morpheus on the face, neck, and chest yields good results. While there is typically five days of swelling, the results are worthwhile.
