I've observed that in some rhinoplasty patients, the shape of the nostril opening changes from round to triangular, resulting in an unnatural and operated appearance of the nose (please refer to the provided pictures). This seems to occur more frequently in individuals with thicker skin, such as those with Asian or African American noses, but it can also happen in Caucasian noses. Is this due to trip refinement, alarplasty, or some other factor? How can this outcome be prevented? And if it does occur, is there a way to correct it? Thank you.
