  • How Much Does Ksl Hair Transplant Cost In Edinburgh

I have a raised spot on my lip that looks like a blackhead (photos provided). When I squeeze it, a small amount of filler comes out. Is this a normal occurrence?

Fillers are injected into the natural tissue planes within your lips and may appear as small holes or needle marks. Hyaluronic acid fillers, which have a gel-like consistency, can settle and become more stable over time. It is important to avoid squeezing the lips after filler injections, as this can cause some of the filler to be expressed, resulting in volume loss. While this may not be a major problem, it can lead to a decrease in volume.

If there are signs of infection or potential infection, it is recommended to return to your injector for evaluation. Antibiotics may be prescribed as a precautionary measure.

If you suspect a localized infection at an injection site, it is important to keep the area clean and avoid manipulation. Contacting your board-certified plastic surgeon who performed the procedure is recommended for further evaluation and guidance.
