I would recommend waiting at least a week after your Juvederm cheek filler to have a clearer understanding of the results. Swelling is common for a few days following the injection, and it typically improves with time.

Swelling after a procedure can take up to two weeks to completely resolve. During the first couple of days, you can help alleviate swelling by using cold compresses and keeping your head elevated. If you still have concerns after two weeks, it is recommended to return to your injector for an evaluation. If desired, the product can be dissolved with hyaluronidase.
