After my tummy tuck and liposuction, the swelling has created the appearance of a belly button, even though I don't have one. Did my surgeon forget to create a new belly button for me? There is a lump next to the "fake" belly button. Could that be my original belly button? My surgeon asked if I liked my belly button when removing my binder on day 1 and has asked me about it since. There is a scab, but I don't see any stitches. I'm unsure of what to do. The lump is slightly painful. Should I consult my surgeon to potentially cut my skin and allow the belly button to emerge? I was told I would have my original belly button.
