Three days after receiving 28 units of Botox for my crow's feet and 3 units above my lip for a horizontal smile line, I experienced tingling and numbness in my fingers and toes. This peaked around the 10-day mark. My doctor said it couldn't be related to the Botox. However, I consulted a neurologist who conducted an MRI and extensive blood work, all of which came back negative for multiple sclerosis (MS) or autoimmune diseases. After six weeks, the numbness and tingling resolved. I would like to have Botox again, but I'm concerned about the possibility of recurring peripheral neuropathy issues.
