I'm like, have you lost your mind? Will I lose volume or fat cells due to this?
Hi, and thank you for your question. At this point, being almost 12 weeks post-surgery, the fat that remains should generally be there to stay. You shouldn't encounter any problems since you're nearing the 12-week mark. Best of luck with your recovery...
By 11 weeks, assuming you have healed without any complications, you should be well on your way to recovery and able to resume almost any activity that you were capable of doing before your surgery.
After 6 weeks post-tummy tuck surgery, there are generally no restrictions on activities, and they do not affect the final outcome.
Thank you for your concern. The majority of fat loss should occur within the first 4-6 weeks after the procedure. Since you are already 11 weeks post-surgery, it is likely that you are fine. The fat that was transferred needs to become vascularized within the first week, or it may not survive. I recommend checking with your surgeon and following their post-operative regimen. Best of luck!
