I am a 28-year-old woman who's 5'7" tall and weighs 155 lbs. With broad shoulders, wide hips, and very little breast tissue, I'm looking to enhance my figure with a breast augmentation procedure. I'm currently debating between 425cc and 450cc silicone gel implants. I understand that the volume difference is minor, but I'm curious if it will have a significant visible impact. I don't want to appear top-heavy.

I'm going against the common opinion and suggesting you go with the 450. Considering your height, you will likely tolerate it well, and many women end up wishing they had gone bigger afterward rather than smaller. Adding that small amount will not make you look heavier. I assume you have already had extensive discussions with your surgeon at this point. Good luck.

The difference between 425 cc and 450 cc implants is 1/8th of a cup size, which is not noticeable to you or the surgeon. If your goal is to avoid going too big or appearing heavy, it is recommended to let the surgeon decide the implant size during surgery. Before the procedure, it is essential to communicate your desires to the plastic surgeon and preferably provide visual references. Trust your surgeon's judgment to fulfill your needs. The slight difference of 25cc in breast implant size is unlikely to have a noticeable impact on appearance. Differences of 50 to 75cc in the 400cc range are more visible. When in doubt, opting for a slightly larger size is often preferred as many patients feel implants are not big enough rather than too big.
