Great question! The healing process and quality of scars can vary based on your genetics and skin quality. After breast lifts, I recommend using Biocorneum, a silicone gel that should be applied twice a day. Another option is to use Embrace scar therapy sheets on your incisions. Embrace sheets relieve tension on the scars, promoting better healing, as tension plays a significant role in scarring. I encourage you to watch a video demonstrating the application of Embrace silicone sheets on a breast lift patient. Enjoy your journey!

Hi Allforme2018, in my experience, using brown 3M surgical micropore tape is the best approach for managing early surgical scars. This eliminates the need to purchase expensive creams. Apply the tape to your scars for 3-6 months, depending on your skin type. Leave it on for 2-3 weeks at a time. It is shower-proof. I hope this information is helpful.

Combination approaches, such as pulsed dye laser, Plato's Scar gel, fractional laser, and Kenalog IIT, can be used to reduce redness, inflammation, and thickness in surgical scars.

Silicone-based scar cream called Biocorneum is recommended for scar fading after surgery. It is advisable to discuss specific post-operative instructions with your plastic surgeon.
