Based on the photo you provided, it appears that the white material has either fallen off or been washed off. If it can be easily pulled off, you likely have a superficial wound that will heal with standard wound care. However, if there is a whitish substance that cannot be removed easily, I recommend seeking an evaluation from your surgeon for further assessment and management. The white material could potentially be necrotic skin, exudate, a protruding suture, or something else, although none of these are typically serious.
