I recently had Botox injections (25 units) in my forehead and brow area, and I am satisfied with the results. However, since receiving the injections approximately two weeks ago, I have been experiencing chronic diarrhea on a daily basis. I have ruled out the possibility of a stomach virus or food poisoning. Could the Botox be responsible for causing the diarrhea? If so, when can I expect it to subside? Thank you!
I have not come across any reports or evidence suggesting that diarrhea is a side effect of Botox. It is possible that there may be a coincidental systemic illness present. It would be advisable to consult with your primary care doctor for a thorough evaluation of your situation.
