I'm currently considering a BBL with a specific doctor. However, I've seen some girls with marks on their bodies, and some say they are burns from wearing a faja (compression garment). I'm wondering if these marks are indeed faja burns or if they are caused by liposuction?

No garment should cause such burns, and it is important to ensure that your surgeon is a board-certified plastic surgeon who operates from an accredited outpatient surgery center with a board-certified anesthesiologist present. Dear, thank you for your question. From the photos, it appears that the areas you pointed out are superficial skin bruising, which should resolve with time. Liposuction alone can yield good results for many patients, but an excellent outcome can be achieved with IDEAL Liposuction.
