Foreign sensations are common during the early healing period and most of them will resolve over time. Skin contraction is a normal part of the liposuction process. Massage can be helpful in managing these sensations. It is recommended to allow 3-6 months before making any judgments about the final outcome. As always, it is important to discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in liposuction.

It seems like you are recovering well, but issues with sensory nerves can cause discomfort. Taking over-the-counter pain relievers and gentle massage may help. Consult with your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon for further guidance.
