I noticed an indentation occurring diagonally above my left eyebrow, all the way to the hairline, after receiving Botox injections. It looks worse than the original wrinkles did, and it's in a place where I cannot naturally form a wrinkle (even before the Botox). I cannot find any pre-Botox photos showing this wrinkle, so I'm certain it's a result of the Botox. Should I get more Botox to help or should I wait for it to resolve on its own? It has been two weeks since the injections.

BOTOX itself does not cause indentations. BOTOX is a muscle relaxer and does not directly affect the skin. However, if certain muscles are relaxed while others remain active, it can create an imbalance where the active muscles appear more pronounced, potentially leading to the appearance of an indentation. This is temporary and will resolve as the effects of BOTOX wear off. Adding BOTOX to the overactive muscle can help address this issue. It's important to note that any irregularities related to BOTOX are temporary and related to muscle dynamics.

If you have an indentation in the forehead after Botox injections, it can usually be corrected. It is possible that the outer forehead muscles were not adequately treated, resulting in the indentation. Return to your injector for a review of your before and after pictures.
