Question
  • How Much Does Ksl Hair Transplant Cost In Edinburgh

Having lost 80 lbs, I currently weigh 130 lbs and stand 5'4 tall. I'm interested in a tummy tuck procedure, but I'm on medication for high blood pressure and angina. Both conditions are entirely managed by these medications. Additionally, I've undergone sterilization (tubal ligation) to prevent future pregnancies. Is a tummy tuck still a viable option for me? Thanks in advance for your advice."

Controlled high blood pressure does not prevent you from undergoing a tummy tuck procedure. However, if you have angina, it may be a concern. It is recommended that you consult with your cardiologist before or after your consultation with a plastic surgeon to assess your risks and determine if the surgery is appropriate for you. If you haven't had a recent evaluation, a stress test may be necessary to evaluate your heart's ability to withstand the stress of surgery. Losing weight may have significantly improved your heart health.

Your weight loss is commendable, and a tummy tuck has been proven to assist individuals like yourself in maintaining their weight loss. Well-controlled high blood pressure should not be a hindrance to undergoing a tummy tuck procedure. However, if you have angina, it is advisable to undergo a comprehensive evaluation of your heart by your primary care doctor to ensure the safety of the surgery. Choosing a plastic surgeon who is a member of ASAPS will provide you with the assurance that you are selecting a doctor with a distinguished reputation in the field of cosmetic surgery.
